For a New Zealand Day at my school I created these resources and a timetable of the day. It is intended for KS1 so might seem simplistic in the explanations of Maori culture etc but you can adjust if you wish.
These resources include an intro to NZ, a traditional tale of how Maui tamed the sun, intro to an activity making tattooed Maori masks, simplified instructions for a dance lesson teaching the Haka, activity sheets for colouring in and continuing a maori pattern.
