Cut out these banners and stick each letter to the board with blutac. When the noise level is too high, remove a letter, beginning with the E. Keep removing letters as needed, until you are left with NO. Then the children will need to work in silence. If the disruption continues, flip the O to reveal a “playtime minute deduction” of your choice. Do the same with N. We almost never need to use the minute deductions!
