In the lesson we look at the different climate types of the world:

- Continental Climate
- Polar Climate
- Mild Climate
- Highland Climate
Pupils start by looking at the climate of the region and then using maps to look and observe the average temperatures of regions of North America in January and July.
They then move on to describing the climate and temperature of a specific region, state or city in North America using Koppen Tables
