Extracts from various examples of American literature to compare with Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby' and/or Steinbeck's 'The Grapes of Wrath'. Benefits students studying for the OCR A Level in English Literature under the topic of American Literature 1880–1940. Learners answer one question worth 30 marks using an unseen extract that is thematically linked to the prose texts they have studied. Answers will be assessed for AO2 (75%), AO1 (12.5%) and AO3 (12.5%).

Sadly, this really isn't worth the £9 charge - it does not include what it suggests it does.
The resources themselves are excellent: two PowerPoints that talk the students through the process, but only four comparison extracts to use as practice exercises. I do feel cheated because for £6 I would have expected many more comparison extracts for my money.
