The lesson starts by covering the difference between the first and subsequent electron affinities. It then moves to showing how lattice enthalpies can be used to support calculating enthalpies of solution. It shows his these values can be calculated using practical means as well as theoretically. It closes by looking at the difference between exothermic and endothermic reactions.
