All of the above is detailed on a hand-out for students using a variety of historical books and historians views!
This lesson also looks at primary and secondary sources for the causes and nature of Pilgrimage of Grace to create a well-rounded skills lesson.
Finally there is a PRACTICE EXAM QUESTION on the seriousness of the Pilgrimage of Grace; Evaluate the interpretations in both of the two passages and explain which you think is more convincing as an explanation of the seriousness of the Pilgrimage of Grace. (30)
Overall students will decide how serious of a threat the Pilgrimage of Grace was to the Tudor government.
