This is a fun way to practice Order of Operations questions, also known as BIDMAS, BODMAS or PEDMAS. It encourages students to remember to do brackets first, then indices/exponentials, then division and multiplication, then finally addition and subtraction. Some questions have been designed to show up misconceptions such as 6-3+4. A common mistake is that students add 3+4 then take that away from 6, rather than doing the sum in order.

A card game based on the traditional game of Rummy, where normal cards are exchanged for cards that feature calculations which challenge a player’s knowledge of the order of operations There are 52 cards, 4 suits, 13 cards per suit as per a normal game of rummy. A working-out sheet is provided and intended for every student, so they can find solutions to each calculation as the game is played.

This is included in Card Game Bundle 5

Perfect - needed something more like a game for my nephew. We're tutoring him for maths and he will not work unless there's some sort of fun in it for him!
