A complete resource for children to complete a simple orienteering course.
Children have a map (not provided) of the area with 12 controls drawn on it and an answer sheet (provided). A course is provided for them to complete and the start control point. When they reach that point they look at the control card (provided) find the next control point which they write down on their answer card. They repeat this until they complete the course and come to the last control which has an 'F' on it and a word they then write the word down and return to the adult. They then check they have completed the course in the correct sequence.
A further course could then be done with/without timing.
Great activity which children of all ages enjoy.
