This bundle contains three separate tasks, each with three example answers (grade 5, grade 7 and grade 9). For each task there is also an explanation included to describe the differences between the answers.
Tasks are:
Task: “We live in a ‘throwaway society’ where people have forgotten the value of the things they have.” Write an article for your school newspaper, stating whether or not you think this is true.
Task: “Nurses and teachers are public servants and therefore should not go on strike.” Write a letter to your local newspaper, stating whether or not you think this is right.
Task: “People assume it’s the younger generation that are rude, selfish and ignorant but this isn’t always the case." Write an article for a newspaper in which you voice your opinion on this matter.
