Personification Year 7-8 poetry lesson

Personification lesson for Year 7-8. This can also be used as a refresher lesson. Fun activities on exploring ideas of personification and analysis of personification in Dionne Brand’s poem ‘The Wind’. Activities include discussion, role plays, use of word banks, annotation skills, and analysis grid of lines from the poem. Extension activity included and accompanying worksheet and poem. Lesson was used during OFSTED. For convenience, PowerPoint and worksheet can be used without much alteration for a full hour’s lesson.
