Phase 5 Worksheets ALL SOUNDS

A set of 19 worksheets based around the phase 5 sounds:
ay, ou, ie, ea, oy, ir, ue, aw, wh, ph, ew, au, ey, a_e, e_e, i_e, o_e, u_e.

Each sheet focuses on a specific phase 5 grapheme and breaks it down into a number of activities:

• saying the phoneme
• writing the grapheme (tracing)
• reading words with the grapheme in (encouraging sound buttoning)
• short phoneme spotter story
• writing a dictated sentence

The dictated sentences have been included in a seperate document and the children should be read the sentence, allowed to write the sentence and then go through how it should have been written afterwards. These sentences include the graphemes focused on and includes some HFWs/CEWs.
