Phonics Phase 2 SATIPN I Spy Scavenger Hunt

I spy scavenger hunt cards to support the development of initial sound recognition. This set focuses on Phase 2 sounds: SATIPN. Great for a structured adult activity as part of your phonics carousel, an independent activity to add to your phonics continuous provision or a recap activity for older students requiring an intervention. This is a self checking activity, great for promoting independence and confidence in learning.

Printing Instructions:
Print one copy of pages 1-3.
Print as many copies of page 4 for students to record their answers.

Dyslexia Friendly Tips:
Print on buff/cream coloured paper or offer use of a coloured reading ruler if the student is displaying signs of visual stress
Avoid reducing the size when printing
Provide a visual sound mat to support pupil’s phoneme/grapheme association
