Phonics Phase Two Set 1 Activities

This pack contains introductory activities on each of the letters in Phase Two, Set 1 and is based on outcomes from the Nation Curriculum.

Suitable for Year 1 or Year 2/3 to recap on letters and sounds.

These activities introduce each letter and its sound at the start of a word.
The activities listed below are for each letter S A T P

Handwriting templates for the letter/sound.
Large Sound Letter activity page – surrounded with pictures of words beginning with the letter/sound.
Colour activity - say the name of each picture, colour the pictures that begin with the sound.
Cut and paste – identify the pictures beginning with the correct sound and paste in the boxes.
Jar sorting – say the name of each picture, cut out the pictures that begin with the correct sound and place in the jar. Easily laminated and great for reusing.
A basic reading comprehension based on the sound.
An At Home activity for each of the sounds.
Suggested classroom activities to consolidate learning.
