Properties of Matter Card Sort
Is flammability a chemical or physical property? What about density? This low-prep activity will help your students distinguish between the two types of properties of matter. The resource includes pictures and terms for 12 different properties. Depending on the level of your students, have them sort one both sets. Three different sizes are provided to use in a variety of ways. The large cards can be used for science centers or stations while the small ones will fit in interactive notebooks. Perfect for reinforcing science vocabulary and concepts in a fun way!
