Pinocchio in doggerel verse

This is a doggerel version of the original tale, intended to capture the imagination of young would-be performers. The script can be used in different ways; either the narrator can read all of the script alongside actors who mime, or performers can deliver some or all of their lines when required. This system removes the need for a prompt because the narrator can simply rescue the scene.
This script relieves the pressure on inexperienced performers, making the experience enjoyable and boosting confidence. It is suitable for use with children or with adults with learning difficulties.
