This playscript was written using an episode of Horrid Henry (Horrid Henry's Christmas). The script covers the first three minutes or so of the episode and includes all dramatic conventions. It is a really useful teaching tool to emphasise how each and every action in the animation is communicated to the reader. It was a very lengthy process to produce the script but my pupils found it very worthwhile. I used this script to demonstrate how to write a playscript and how to include everything that is happening, verbal or otherwise.
Had to buy this to find out how little there was in it. The review said it was a lot of hard work; I don't think so.

I stand by the description. It was a very lengthy process to ensure every dramatic convention is reflected in the script. I’m sorry you were disappointed but I think the image shown and description is fair. I notice your user name refers to a stage school. If you purchased this intending to act it out that might be why you didn’t find it useful. As stated, it only covers around three minutes of the episode due to the time taken to ensure the accuracy. This resources is designed for the teaching of writing playscripts and how to communicate the non verbal elements through the written play script form. I used it as a comparison between the animation on the video link and the written script so that my pupils could understand how one relates to the other. When comparing and discussing, the three minutes is more than enough content.
