A set of two lessons following Dynamo 1, module 3 point de départ. Students are introduced to weather phrases with games to consolidate understanding. The lesson then progresses to allow students to practice forming negatives and then speaking and presentation skills (includes success criteria to aid peer assessment). The second lesson is used to reinforce new weather vocabulary while providing the opportunity for students to revise the present tense of ER verbs. Lessons conclude with a picture discussion/writing task and a GCSE style extended writing task with success criteria for students to self assess.
