Point de départ: Le grand large (Holidays) Studio GCSE Mod 5

A set of three lessons following ‘Point de départ: Le grand large’ Studio GCSE Higher Module 5. Students are reminded of how to use reflexive verbs and the verb faire at the start of the lessons then go on to be guided through using time markers and three tenses simultaneously. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar, stepped translation, and a speaking task with success criteria. A match up and dice game are also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a role play card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
