Students have 5 minutes to find 5 primes, they will get more points for larger primes, then there is a list of primes up to 1000 so they can check answers

This is a nice idea for a competitve starter perhaps in a lesson on prime factors, as explained students have to think of the largest primes they can. This would really help to consolidate the understanding of a prime and i'm sure students would be engaged, you could even add in a little history about the distribution of the primes!
