A worksheet on the Principle of Moments, requiring students to find the missing distance or force for a balanced see-saw. Also includes an online Google Form Quiz version of the worksheet.
Extension questions look at three forces acting on a see-saw.
The worksheet comes with a link to a Google Form that can be used for students to enter their answers online. The Google Form includes the images, and will tell the students the correct answer after they submit theirs. The Google Form will also create a speadsheet for you with the students’ answers.
The worksheet also comes with a full set of answers.
I use this worksheet for my GCSE and IGCSE Physics classes, as well as for KS3 Cambridge Lower Secondary classes. I use the Google form when using the worksheet as homework.
