This lesson is designed to last for 50-60 minutes and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Oxford KS3 curriculum and looks at various types of aid including medical, military, financial and more. Students will also understand the difference between NGOs, governmental aid and individual aid. The dark side of aid will also be investigated making students aware that throwing money at a problem isn’t always the best solution!
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary and various student led activities.
