This is a pupil friendly checklist that contains all the skills for comparing texts following the new requirements of the 9-1 GCSE English. I have also used it with Key stage 3 pupils when introducing the comparing texts element. It is particularly good for self assessment and for evaluation at the beginning and end of a unit/ activity.
