A weeks’ worth of planning and worksheets to teach your Year 6 pupils how to master ratio and proportion. They will learn how to recognise and use the language of ratio; they will learn how to calculate with ratio; they will learn how to use scale factors; they will learn how to solve problems involving ratio and proportion. Additional lessons are also included which focus on reasoning with ratio, simplifying ratios and solving recipe problems.
The resources are differentiated. They include plenty of fluency practice as well as reasoning and mastery.
Answers are provided. Editable versions of each PDF are included, created in Microsoft Word 2010.
