Reception / Year 1 White Rose numeracy planning and resources - Autumn term 1; week 1

Differentiated White Rose numeracy planning and resources for a mixed reception / year 1 class.

Resources are split into days and questions are ready to cut into strips and glue into books.

Year 1 objectives:

• Count to ten, forwards and backwards, beginning with 0 or 1, or from any given number.
• Count, read and write numbers to 10 in numerals and words.

Reception objectives:

• Recognises numerals 1 to 5.
• Counts up to 3 or 4 objects by saying one number name for each item.
• Counts objects to 10, and beginning to count beyond 10.
• Selects the correct numeral to represent 1 to 5, then 1 to 10 objects.
