A form of operant conditioning where students are rewarded for excellent behaviour and excellent work. This has proven to work for primary students in a challenging school or nurture classes in secondary schools.
This would benefit ECTs as you would be able to evidence standard 1 and standard 7.
This could either be laminated and teacher can write students name on each star and simply wipe off if negative behaviour has been presented or numbered pins could be used for each child.
