Roman Britain crossword and word search

I designed these puzzle worksheets to use in school sessions in connection with my class reader, The Leopard in the Golden Cage, used to teach KS2 children about life in Roman Britain.

The Leopard in the Golden Cage is the first book in The Scar Gatherer series, a sequence of seven time travel adventures spanning British history from Roman times up to WW2. The series website has a wealth of additional material on each period, written for children. The Roman pages include a Roman timeline, pages about famous Romans, Roman recipes, and a page on Roman names.
