Scaffolded Nth term from Quadratic Sequences

After one lesson where my class were getting confused around the steps to find the Nth term, I quickly threw together this sheet on my iPad while sat waiting in a car park.
It has the steps and some fading examples and I used it in conjunction with more questions in once pupils were more familiar with the method.
The first page has no “middle” term, while the second one does.
