After 4 years in the teaching world, I have discovered that for me one of the most important things is to have all the important events and dates in one place that can be easily accessible and visible.
Some people use the Teacher’s Book on paper but I never really liked it so I used sticky notes all the time as it was more visual. Obviously, it can get a bit messy so that is why I moved to excel.
I have created this spreadsheet where you can write the event, you decide whether it is of high or low importance, you can set a date and it will show in the calendar…
I have been using it this year, modifying it to make it work better and it has been a game changer.
