We are following the Activate 1 (New 2016) book. This is the lesson I created to deliver a lesson on scientific enquiry to enhance the first unit: Forces.
You are purchasing the Powerpoint only which I made, but I have included the worksheets I used in the lesson to make it easier for you.
If you like this lesson I will be putting all of the lessons from the first unit in a bundle, complete with revision resources for the end-of-unit test.

AQA Activate 1 Unit 8 Organisms: Movement and cells YEAR 7 KS3 whole unit
This bundle contains the resources I made for the Activate 1 Unit 8 unit Organisms:Movement and Cells Most of the lessons have a literacy support sheet for SEN students who find it difficult to write text from the board. Most of these lessons are suitable for delivery by non-specialists. Edited to add revision flashcards
Activate 1 Matter: Particle model and separating mixtures Year 7 KS3 chemistry
These are the lessons for the Activate 1 (New book) scheme of work. Each lesson has a powerpoint which guides you through the lesson. Most lessons are suitable for non-specialists as answers to any questions on the powerpoint are included. Starting activities are a mixture of literacy, numeracy and scientific thinking. Most lessons have 'literacy support sheets' for SEN students and those who struggle to write quickly. There are differentiated double-sided flashcards to prepare for end of unit tests. Chromatography lesson is not included as I did not create a new lesson for this but re-used a colleague's lesson.
