This resource is great for learners with SEND, it combines the teaching behind shape coding and colour semantics together to create a visual support for children learning to build sentences. For the best results: print, cut and laminate it and create a laminated velcro board for the shapes/words to stick onto in order to create sentences. Then use a whiteboard pen over the laminated words to add punctuation or create your own words.
Used successfully for children from ages 4-15 and those with special educational needs (down syndrome, ADHD, autism, dyslexia).
