Students read the moment Sherlock and Dr Watson meet, looking for things Watson would have noted about his new acquaintance. They then write Watson's diary entry, using key phrases that show they have understood Holmes' presentation.
A bit disappointing the differentiation mentioned in the lesson pan is not included. Neither is the extract the lesson is based around. Quite basic.

My apologies that you were disappointed with this resource. For copyright reasons, I am not permitted to reproduce the extract, but it is clearly stated what story and which sections are needed - a Google search should return what you need. Also, I felt an outline of differentiation approaches would suffice: you know your students better than I do so differentiation could be handled better by you than me! Hope this explains my thinking, but I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback - it gives me something to consider for future resources.
