Short Story based on The Hodgeheg

Short story following a five party story mountain - opening, build up, problem, solution, ending.
The story is based on the opening of The Hodgeheg, but using a different character (a young duck). It includes a lot of similar sentence structure and phrasing, but is possible for KS2 children to replicate.
