Small Stories for Comprehension Practice

Small Stories for Small People is a set of 42 small stories with questions and answers set in a Microsoft Word format.
The 42 stories are divided into 7 phases with 6 stories in each phase.
Set 1 is comprised of stories made with simple sentences, suitable for year 1 but also useful for children in older age groups with reading difficulties. The phases roughly correspond with primary school age groups, with phase seven requiring proficient readers able to read between the lines using inference.
Useful in any classroom as a resource where children can use the stories independently or as a whole class activity.
