Carousel lesson aimed at year 11 students preparing for IGCSE/GCSE. Main focus on perfect, imperfect and pluperfect tenses.
Materials include:
- Lesson plan
- PowerPoint to accompany lesson - interactive feature for translations (pupils translate a phrase, click on box to make it disappear and reveal part of an image using IWB pen or mouse)
- Variety of materials that focus on the perfect, imperfect and pluperfect tenses in a narrative context (e.g. cryptograms, gap fill tasks, competitive/timed speaking tasks in groups, AfL task where students have to study a model answer and give feedback/ways to improve - to be used in conjunction with mark scheme)
- Answers provided for peer or self-assessment.
