Spelling Bee CVC Activity Cards for KS1

“Spelling Bee Phonics Activity Set,” is an interactive resource designed to enhance phonics learning in the classroom. Useful for Key Stage 1 teachers who are looking for engaging ways to assess, practice, and consolidate children’s understanding of phonics and CVC words.

Each set includes five ‘honeycomb’ cards, each centered around a different vowel - ‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’, or ‘u’. The activity encourages children to use their phonics skills to form and write up to 6 CVC words. Examples of words for the ‘a’ card could be ‘pet’, ‘pen’, ‘ten’, ‘met’, ‘peg’, and ‘meg’.
