The powerpoint works through a range of Stanislavski’s techniques such as:
- The magic if
- Given and Previous circumstances
- Circles of attention
The powerpoint was used for year 10 and year 11 students as a way of introducing his methods to them in a practical way (due to the number of interactive workshops that are included on each slide) to use in their course.
The presentation was part of a lesson for students studying “Blood Brothers” by Willy Russel as a part of their GCSE so the last two slides have activities relating to that. If you are not using Blood Brothers feel free to ignore those slides if you would like.
Attached is also a lesson plan that briefly details that activities on each slide also.

The lesson plan that accompanied the PowerPoint was very simplistic. The PowerPoint was partially useful but would be better with more explanation which linked to the activities on the lesson plan.
