Structure of a Leaf Model Making activity

Colour, Label, Cut and Stick activity to learn the structure of a leaf. This resource includes the worksheet to print and make the model, a guidance sheet for teachers and a worksheet with instructions for the students.

The worksheet entitled - Leaf Tissue net for model making is best printed on thin A3 white card although it will work on paper as well. The instructions document can be printed for students or projected on the board. Students will need; Scissors, Glue and colouring pencils. They will need access to a textbook or have been taught the structure of the leaf and of plant cells first. My Year 9 loved this as an end of term lesson but would work for most secondary school years. Can be differentiated by level of detail included in labeling. My top set added in Chloroplasts and extra stomata for example.
