These success criteria have been used successfully not only in my class but across the whole junior school. If you believe that they are too wordy then I would suggest that you simplify these for pupils of your class and the ability of children across your school. I hold high expectations of children and pupils in my school and other schools that I have supported have reponded accordingly.
