Dilemma led learning - children are presented with a dilemma and invited to test materials to compare suitability for a knights armor.
This can be made more open / free depending on children’s experience of carrying out tests. As this was one of the first tests my class had carried out it is very structured.
By providing the children with a range of materials and a blank worksheet, this can be made more open for children to choose and explore.
