A great way to teach the underlying concepts of probability is a game of Yahtzee. This has always been difficult until now, with this poker twist version.
The teacher rolls 5 dice which cannot be changed. Students in pairs/solo roll 3 of their own dice up to 3 times. Yahtzee hands are made and scored. Every round that has a Yahtzee drops the teachers dice down to 4, and then 3!
The PowerPoint includes full instructions displayed in an easy way to help first time players grasp the game quickly.
This works brilliantly with the included Excel Dice Roller that I wrote specifically for this game. To purchase a version without the Dice Roller, look in my shop.
Good luck rolling!
