Six rounds of questions and answers all in a beautifully presented, engaging and ready-to-go PowerPoint, suitable for all ages. There is also a printable answer sheet included to make keeping track of score easy and engaging!

(Printed answer sheet is not necessary if trying to keep printing costs down. Student’s can just as easily write down their answers on any paper or white board.)

Picture Round:
Photos of well known celebrities hidden behind snorkelling masks, ready for their summer holidays.
This round is available as a separate handout out with all the pictures and questions. Works well as an initial settler and gets the teams working well together.

Round 1: Breaking news
Ten multiple choice questions based on current affairs from around the world. But don’t worry, there’s nothing too political or contentious - just good hearted fun!

Round 2: Summer Trivia!
Ten multiple choice questions based on summertime facts, figures and customs from around the world.
Answers for rounds 1 and 2 at the end of this round.

Round 3: Summer in numbers
Ten multiple choice numerical based questions about summer based activities and facts.
Answers at the end of round 4.

Round 4: Which county?
Ten multiple choice questions. Students to identify the country from the outline. A nice little geography round!

Round 5: Where’s Walter the Watermelon?
A favourite among students!
Ten images from around the world - but where is Walter?
Participants use coordinates to locate Walter the Watermelon.
The PowerPoint is timed to display each image for 10 seconds only.
