Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin - the breakthrough astronomer - this presentation could be used to support GB 3 and 4 in encouraging students to see the value in determination and what a woman can achieve despite the obstacles in her way Sofonisba Anguissola - an introduction to a woman who made her own career in a time where court artists were predominantly men.
