In this resource you will find a variety of activities to take your learners through the classic fairytale The Princess and the Pea. These resources are an excellent addition to any fairytale unit and are geared toward years 2 and 3.
There are vocabulary word cards with pictures, which would be great for pre-teaching the words/character students will encounter when reading The Princess and the Pea. There are two graphic organizers which allow students to organize the text by Story Elements or by Beginning/Middle/End. This resource contains Picture Story Sequencing in full color and in black and white. The Picture Story Sequencing does not have captions, so students could retell the story orally or in their own written words. This resource also has a differentiated comprehension activity which focuses on using textual evidence and inferencing.
