This resource is an eight page PDF document with activities to do based on the book The Speedy Sloth by Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie. This document contains six worksheets for students.

The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are comprehension questions, vocabulary activities (rhyming words, adjectives, contractions, compound words and comparatives and superlatives) and a writing task.

There is a double-up of one worksheet because the pictures are provided in colour and there is also a version with black and white pictures for those teachers that may not wish to print in colour.

This book has been chosen as the National Simultaneous Storytime text for 2023.
