A scheme of work for Shakespeare’s The Tempest, with each lesson focused on a scene of the play with activities and discussion points. Each lesson has a starter activity of a word, fact and riddle/dingbat of the day attached. Lessons have focuses on the following scenes:
- L1 - Act 1 Scene 2
- L2 - Acts 2-3
- L3 - Act 3 Scene 2
- L3 - Act 3 Scene 3
- L5 - Act 4
- L6 - Act 5
- L7 - The End (nice consolidating map making activity)
The scheme was designed with a middle ability Year 8 group in mind, but can easily be adapted for other age/ability groups. The first two lessons were made for remote learning so may need some adapting for in person teaching - all the rest are ready to go.
