The Times Table clock allows pupils to use the times tables that they already know and use counting backwards and forwards to fill in the missing gaps. This was particularly useful for showing that multiplication is commutative and when moving onto the 3s and 4s as the pupils already have a wide knowledge of the 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s and were able to count and fill the gaps.
