I have used this in lessons to get students to create timelines of events, or to help them keep a bank of keywords for any of the topics that I cover in both KS3 and KS4. I have included a tutorial on how to change the hash tags and images included on slide 1 so that they could be adapted for any topic or subject.

It was a clean design and easy to manipulate. As an update I would consider adding timing on click to mimic timeline refresh.
