A fun packed resource looking at the Formal Elements in Typography, starting with line. There are a mixture of Typography and Illustration tasks that are informed by the artists Franciska and Stefan Thermerson work.
Students will be guided through activities on mark making, artist research, ASCII as well as illustrating excerpts of text from George Orwell, Mary Shelley and Antoine De Saint-Exupery.
