Understanding the effect of language

Successful year 7 observation lesson - leading into an additional self assessment lesson. Plenty of modelled sentences and a step by step process - worked well with a set 1 year 7 class in a comprehensive school. Plenty of assessment for learning opportunities (we use highlighting and purple pen but quote easy to change this to suit your school). I am a big fan of Mastery so you can see evidence of this in my teaching style. This lesson could easily stretch to three lessons especially with a lower ability and could be used for GCSE component one preparation.
