Unofficial exam paper for A Level Psychology Research Methods, 4th set [48 marks]

This is the 4th in a set of unofficial exam papers for the Research Methods section of the Psychology A level exam.

The stimulus provides information about testing the relationship between anxiety and accuracy of eye-witness testimony.

This paper tests:
Identification of sampling technique
Strengths and limitations of a sampling technique
Hypothesis Writing (Correlation)
Assessing the reliability of questionnaires
Writing an Informed Consent Form
Display of a table of data into a suitable graph
Interpretation of a Scattergraph/table of data
Identification and justification of a probability level
Testing for Significance using critical values tables
Type 1 error
Writing a reference
The purpose and content of an abstract
Design a study (12 marks) (An experiment including experimental design, variables, control measures, procedures, specialist materials, descriptive and inferential stats)
